Hmm, I'd say about a month ago, I did a photo-shoot of some very special friends. Friends going through a very special season of life. God-centered courtship. :)
My surrogate-Coast Guard-brother Isaac flew down to Florida from Alaska one Saturday night. Then surprised his lady friend the next morning at church!! She.was.shocked...in the happiest of ways! ;)
So while he was down, the happy couple asked me to do a session with them.
I was only TOO happy to agree! And what a session we had...SOOO incredibly enjoyable!! :)

::2:: One thing you should probably know is...
::3:: ...since Isaac went back to Alaska...
::4:: ...he and Lydiana have kept up thriving communication...
::5:: ...as much as his military duties and sailing the open ocean can allow...
::6:: ...and in that time...
::7:: ...Isaac has...
::8:: ...asked Lydiana to be his wife!!!!!!!!!!!!
::9:: SHE SAID YES FOLKS!!!!!!
(Side-note: I knew they wouldn't last un-engaged for too much longer! ;)
::10:: Yes, there are other people in this photo, I know. It was purposeful.
This is an example of the way their relationship has been. Surrounded by people who love them...looking to them as examples of what the Lord can do when we wait. He is good, all the time!
::11:: A date is set for November-time and the tizzy of wedding planning is in full swing!

Hopefully, come November, we'll get a change to do a bona-fide engagement shoot. But for now, I'm content to peruse and smile over these! :)
Isaac and Lydie...I'm looking forward to your wedding with GREAT anticipation!! (I can hardly stand it!)
May the Lord continue to be glorified in your lives and use your relationship as a testimony to His goodness!

Your pictures have captured so many facets of who Isaac and Lydiana are together: Comfort, Purity, Desire, Sweetness, Trust, Hope, Playfulness, Anticipation, Joy, Passion, Contentment, Intense Commitment...these are some of the emotions I see so clearly portrayed in this album.
My personal favorite of them all is #4.... Fulfillment after contentment~~~

I am so happy for them! It is encouraging to see another young example of Godly courtship, and to hear of their joy as they prepare for the blessing of marraige. Wonderful photos aslo!

It is a blessing to see the Godly couples the Lord is bringing together...an encouragement of His continual work in our midst and hope for this future generation that HE WILL provide a Godly spouse that has been prepared beforehand.
