Emily and I had a grand ole time exploring our area today. So many times as a photographer in a small town, I can tend to feel a little stuck artistically. That's when I find it helpful to go on a scavenger hunt. :) Just driving around looking for places to take pictures can really help develop the eye of a photographer. It's always an exciting challenge.

Hannah and Peter are getting married!!! SO looking forward to shooting their big day come December! We're all in the thick of wedding plans right now...can't seem to get enough either. :)
This past weekend, we had an amazing time taking engagement pictures. Sunday afternoon found us in a seemingly empty field behind the church...BIG challenge for the shoot! But with a little scenic scrounging, we found some wonderful photo spots.

::Joseph's Senior Shoot::

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of spending an afternoon with some family friends whose son has...guess what...GRADUATED!!!
He chose some very neat venues for the shoot.
We began the photo shoot in the garden where Joseph's parents were married.














Somethin' about a guy and his guitar...





We found a neat brick path while we were there.





Here is Joseph with his sister, Lauren. I have done a photo shoot of them together before. :)






And now, we take a journey to the belly of a bridge. :)







I really liked being under there. Being surrounded by concrete and cool lighting was new to me, but a great learning experience!










We had a grand time exploring and shooting...very, very enjoyable!
